Vladimir Mkrtchian is an American poet and advocate based in Long Island and Queens, NY. He teaches the Armenian language and writes for the Church’s newsletter Narrec at the Holy Martyrs Armenian Language School in Bayside, Queens.
He hopes to study comparative literature, English, and anthropology in college. His previous work in the academic and literary fields involved Armenian and diaspora identity, with work featured in h-pem, Moonstone Press, and beyond.
He’s currently working on another oral history research project based in NYC.
In addition to literature and research, he loves fresco art, pumpkin spice, and High Georgian architecture.
