Submission Categories & Formatting

Poetry Submissions

1. We accept both poetry of all genres. We ask that prospective contributors submit up to five poems.  Prospective contributors are not limited to one submission category. We welcome simultaneous submissions and previously published work (with appropriate credit to the first publication). Prose poems should be submitted under the category of poetry.

2. There is no set hard line limit or word count. Please be aware of the physical magazine's size and length limitations. Submissions published digitally do not have to adhere to a certain length.

3. Please separate individual poems with page breaks. If your work does not have a title, please refer to it as "Untitled." Additionally, you can make any last-minute changes to your work if accepted.

Art Submissions

1. We accept art of all genres—including photography and mixed media—and have no preferred medium. We ask that prospective contributors submit up to five pieces of art. Prospective artwork contributors can also submit creative writing and are not limited to one submission category.

2. Please submit artwork in separate files. Ensure that your art is high-resolution and legible. Optionally, you can provide context through a brief description for each piece.

Prose & Non-Fiction Submissions

1. We accept prose & non-fiction of most genres—including but not limited to short stories, flash fiction, memoirs, creative journalism, interviews, cultural/literary criticism, and opinion pieces—and have no preferred type of prose. We do ask that submissions are relevant to our mission statement, primarily focusing on creative, literary, and cultural topics.

2. There won’t be a hard line limit or word count for prose submissions, since prose will be published virtually. We prefer submissions of moderate length.
